Aircoil evaporator coil type DX
Use the DX Evaporator coil for cooling air. Ideal for installing in ducts with a guide or flange connection, and for embedding in a unit.
- Internally dried, filled with protective gas and sealed.
- Copper suction tube and brass distributor for soldered connection. The connection dimensions are stated in the technical calculation.
The coils are labelled to indicate the fluid and gas tubes, respectively, as well as the airflow direction. The construction depth varies according to the number of tube rows, as stated in the technical calculation.
Cooling coils type A, B and C are fitted with a drip tray and can be constructed for vertical or horizontal draining. Type iA can be supplied with or without a drip tray. The drip tray is available in a straight or angled version.
The A, B and C models can all be equipped with either a Guide (G) or Flange (F).
Installation instructions for connecting the coils and the drip tray are supplied with the coils.
Type A
Open ends with visible headers and tube bends outside the connection dimensions.
Type B
Covered ends with capped headers and tube bends outside the connection dimensions.
Type C
Covered ends with capped headers and tube bends inside the connection dimensions.
Type iA
Inside the unit, millimetre sized to the interior width and height of the unit.
Standard model of Evaporator coil DX
The coils are supplied as standard for vertical installation – horizontal airflow. These coils are supplied labelled in accordance with the AMA VVS & KYL 16 standard. The following materials are used in the standard version:
- Copper tubes
- Aluminium fins
- Hot galvanised sheet steel casing
- Drip tray made of stainless steel sheet
